Within a radius of 25-30 km are the beautiful cities of Pisa with its famous Piazza die Miracoli, Lucca with its imposing city walls, the Pisan coast with its vast beaches. Casciana Terme offers rest and relaxation at the baths just 7 km away. Not to be missed are the many interesting small museums of the region: the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, which tells the story of the legendary Vespa, the naturalistic museum of the Certosa di Calci, the largest freshwater aquarium in Italy and in Vinci the Leonardo Museum.
