The large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed (or three single beds) has a blackout window with mosquito net and a large blackout window, which gives direct access to the outside patio. A wooden staircase leads from the living room to the upper floor (80 sqm). The upper floor hallway is accessed by a wooden staircase. Here there is a bathroom with window, shower, WC, bidet, washbasin and a large bedroom with a window (which can be blacked out), overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and the hill where the medieval castle of Poppi stands. It is possible to bathe in the lake, which is approx. 1.5 km from the centre of the village of Pratovecchio, or in the Arno river. The town centres of Pratovecchio and Poppi are about 3 km away. Excursions can be made to the Poppi zoo park, the Verna Sanctuary, the Camaldoli Hermitage and the Casentino National Forest Park. Florence is an hour's drive away, Arezzo is 40 minutes away and Siena 90 minutes. From Arezzo it only takes an hour and 5 minutes to get to Rome by fast train, so day trips to the capital are also possible.
