The perfect holiday retreat. Set in rolling hills, surrounded by olive trees, cherry and almond orchards, this unique trullo is a little piece of heaven on earth!
With 2 hectares of grounds, the property is quiet and totally private. Blessed with the southern Italian sunshine, guests will want to spend most of their time by the swimming pool or relaxing in the shaded pergola, with its stylish décor.
The interiors of the house have been sensitively and beautifully restored. The vaulted sitting room, built out of pale local stone, has an open fireplace, two sofas, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, music stereo, iPod docking station and reading library. The dining room, under the central dome of the house, has high ceilings, wooden beams and beautiful rough stone floors. There is a dark wooden table with four chairs, and the room is decorated with local ceramics. The kitchen is off the dining through an arch and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.
The two bedrooms are peaceful and tastefully decorated with fresh cotton, natural colours and contemporary furniture.
The outdoor space has been arranged with as much care as the interiors. By the pool, guests will find a shower, sun-loungers with parasols and a shaded seating area with a comfortable cane sofa and armchairs. The outdoor kitchen has its own oven, sink and preparation area. There is also a smaller courtyard with a split-cane shade, allowing guests to dine al fresco.
For something more active, there are mountain bikes at the property, so guests can explore the surrounding area. There is also table tennis.

Location
One hour south of Bari, the capital of Puglia, in the quiet countryside, this property allows guests to relax in peace but also explore some of the gems of the region.
The city of Bari is best known as a busy port, however, it has a fascinating history. There are two different areas of the city that are worth exploring, Bari Vecchia (the old town) and the Murat. Spend a day wandering through the narrow streets and trying the delicious local food. If you are tempted to recreate the local food at home, then try the daily fish market on the elegant seafront (Lungomare) where the fishermen sell their catch directly from their boats. Bari has many other markets including the Monday morning flea market in Via Napoli where you can find handicrafts, textiles and interesting craft items.
Much smaller than Bari, the town of Noci (13 minutes) is an unspoiled medieval town, known for its fine 14th century buildings and church bell towers. It is well worth a day trip, especially on a Tuesday, which is market day, and the Piazza Garibaldi is full of delicious fresh vegetables, fruit and local produce.
The property is only 40 minutes from one of the most striking beaches in Italy, Lama Monachile, Polignano a Mare. The white sandy beach is small but the water is clear and a great place for snorkelling. It is also the home of the annual World Cliff Diving Championship.
